Overview
The Nordship 35 is a Danish deck saloon sloop from Nordship Yachts, designed in the Elvström and Kjærulff office and built from 1995 to 2009. Lars Buchwald built the boats near Kolding on the Little Belt. YACHT’s 2002 test of the deck saloon version found she sails well and is excellent under engine, solid work at a price that will not win value comparisons.
Design and Construction
sailboatdata.com lists a fin keel with a spade rudder, 34.45 ft overall on a 26.9 ft waterline, 11.48 ft of beam and 5.25 ft of draft. Displacement is 11,795 lb with 4,850 lb of ballast, and the masthead sloop carries about 670 sq ft.
Buyers Notes
John Neal rates it 3 of 5 and calls Nordship a high quality yard with gorgeous deck saloon models. Its capsize screen value is 2.02, just over the usual offshore guideline.
