Overview
The Westsail 43 is a W.I.B. Crealock design from Westsail, built from 1974, with 61 completed. Good Old Boat’s history of the yard describes the 43 as an aft-cockpit Crealock design, built alongside the center-cockpit Westsail 42, with both in production by the end of 1974. The same account says Westsail was nearly bankrupt by early 1977, a few years after the 43 appeared.

Buyers Notes
John Neal rates Westsails 2 of 5: sturdy and traditional, but watch for leaky aluminum tanks (see Known Issues).
