⚙ chainplates⚙ deck core

The owner of a 1983 Pearson 422 recaps a chainplate leak repair: the outer skin was cut away and about a square foot of deck core was scarfed out because it had "gotten wet and damaged" where the chainplate comes through the deck. New core was bonded to the inner skin and the outer skin laminated back with epoxy, then faired. He plans to rebed the chainplate cover plate and re-tension the shroud.
